An exciting Year 4 teaching role presents in Reddish!On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are looking to appoint a passionate KS2 teacher who will be responsible for Year 4 class in a diverse community in Reddish, Stockport. This is a full-time position commencing May 2025 until at least December 2025 with the possibility of an extension. The school are looking for a driven individual, with proven success in Year 4 and in return offer a supportive and rewarding place to work with strong staff and family relationships being the key to success.

Year 4 Teacher As the Year 4 teacher, you will be responsible for a mixed-ability class of approximately 30 children. A strong curriculum knowledge and an ability to differentiate learning for ranging learners will be essential. You will be expected to plan targeted interventions to accelerate progress across the core subjects and you will be joined by a full-time TA. The successful applicant must have effective behaviour management and be willing to contribute to the wider aspects of school life.The school are looking for a teacher who:

-Has a sound knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum with direct experience in Year 4

-Produces details plans in line with National Curriculum standards with opportunities to stretch and scaffold learning to meet learners at their level

-Can use formative and summative assessment strategies to determine who achived objectives, opportunities to re-teach and plan for appropriate interventions

-An individual who works efficiently and is a good communicator to all other adults within the classroom

-A teacher who values parents as partners in a child's learning.
