A global manufacturing organisation based in Stockport are looking for an experienced Product Manager to take full ownership for the products within the company. You will deliver new and existing products to market, develop and lead the vision and strategy for the products. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle from conception to obsolescence and ensure that the whole product range is constantly evolving and selling across all channels.

The role is Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with some travel required as part of the role.

  • You must be able to clearly demonstrate significant experience in product management, launching new products to meet business objectives.
  • Experience with consumer products is a must have. Any specific experience with lifestyle, home automation, home appliance and interior products will give you a distinct advantage.
  • You must be an effective communicator, an accomplished presenter and a real team player.
  • You must have experience of managing product projects effectively.
  • Degree in Marketing, Product Design or similar would be preferable.

Some of the responsibilities you will undertake:

  • Develop business cases for new products
  • Report progress against agreed plans
  • Act as the company's market expert.
  • Continually monitor competitor activity
  • Propose the product pricing strategy
  • Provide sales and operational forecasts
  • Run Pilot programs with early stage products
  • Carry out Market research as required.
