We looking for a Project Manager to join a leading welding and fabrication company based in Stockport, specialising in delivering high-quality services to a diverse range of industries. Our client's skilled team takes pride in ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of precision and excellence. As they continue to expand, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver projects from start to finish.

Job Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating welding and fabrication projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of each project while maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage welding and fabrication projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and to specification.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure that all milestones are met.
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations, providing regular updates on progress and any potential issues.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and other internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any challenges.
• Prepare and present project proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and scope of work.
• Ensure all safety regulations and quality standards are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery and continued business growth.
• Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, work orders, and invoices.
• Lead a team of project coordinators, welders, and fabricators, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the welding, fabrication, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication processes, materials, and industry safety standards.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on collaboration and achieving results.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A background project managing in welding/fabrication, engineering, manufacturing, or a similar field is an advantage.
