Remuneration: £35,000 - £47,500 + circa £6,000 - £8,000 bonus

The role of the Estimator - Commercial Flooring will involve:

• Estimator position dealing with a range of various commercial flooring projects such as vinyl, laminate, wood, carpets and carpet tile
• Managing the full process of tenders and estimations from start to finish for client
• Meeting with clients to gain an understanding of project requirements where required
• Conducting surveys and measurements to compile quotes
• Producing accurate quotations to client
• Following up quotations to convert sales
• Produce hand over packages for the operations/installations teams to complete the project

• Estimating for projects ranging in value from £500 to £250k
• Targeted with bringing circa £1,500,000 worth of work on per year
• Prioritise own workload to ensure customers’ deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Commercial Flooring with:

• Must have estimating experience within the commercial flooring market sector
• Ideally will be familiar with various flooring systems such as; vinyl flooring, carpet flooring, wood, laminate, carpet tiles, matting & safety flooring
• Excellent relationship building experience
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Good understanding of CRM System
• Self-driven, results orientated with ability to multi task
• Robust, positive outlook and team player
• Mental agility, enthusiastic and articulate
