A great opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join one of the largest textiles companies in the world. Due to growth /new licence agreements. They are seeking a Junior Buyer to work on home textile products

Description

Management of costings in line with margin aspirations at wholesale & retail for business area as required .

Managing development costs for sampling, couriers, photoshoot, annual budget etc.

Market and competitor analysis.

Keeping abreast of competitive quality, prices and value for money.

Close alignment to sales & design, to ensure commercial success of product under development.

Briefing factories and keeping abreast of factory developments to develop ranges including visits to suppliers.

Profile

From design brief, work with the creative team to develop specific product.

Manage critical path.

Range planning.

Ensure quality assurance of product by assessing with the design team & signing off prior to bulk production.
