Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Contract - Renewable Energy

To help with our expansion, we are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join the contract business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • This is a 360 recruitment role where you will be responsible for business development, finding candidates and matching them to specific roles
  • Making sales calls to new clients to build new relationships
  • Booking & attending meetings with clients, both virtual and in person
  • Attending industry conferences globally to meet new clients & candidates
  • Utilise various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, databases, and networking to identify potential contractors
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future contract roles
  • Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and fit for specific contract positions
  • Evaluate candidates' qualifications against job requirements and client needs
  • Manage relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and follow up after interviews to gather feedback
  • Present shortlisted candidates to clients and coordinate interviews
  • Ensure all candidate documentation is complete and compliant with legal and company requirements
  • Manage contract offers and negotiations between candidates and clients
  • Handle administrative tasks related to onboarding, such as background checks and employment paperwork
  • Address any issues that arise with contract placements, including candidate performance or client satisfaction
