What will you be doing in the role of Accounts Manager?

• Taking responsibility of the company's financial wellbeing, your day-to-day will involve the meticulous management of invoicing, including the issuance of pro forma invoices, and the diligent reconciliation of accounts
• Your proactive approach will be crucial in the pursuit of timely payments, as you handle credit control, reducing aged debt and maintaining healthy cash flow
• Your responsibilities will extend to the precise execution of subcontractor payroll, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple facets of the business's financial spectrum
• Additionally, your adeptness at navigating tax and VAT matters will be invaluable, as will your capacity to address and resolve queries related to payments

What experience we are looking for in the role of Accounts Manager?

• A solid background in accounts, ideally honed within the construction sector. Experience with Xero software is preferable
• Your all-encompassing responsibility for accounts and finance will require a detail-oriented mindset, coupled with the ability to oversee a broad range of financial tasks
• Previous experience covering bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, sales ledger, purchase ledger
• Construction industry experience and knowledge of CIS and subcontractor payments would be preferable
