English Teacher - Tameside - January start A dedicated and passionate English Teacher is required to work at a popular Good secondary school in Tameside, to join them on a full-time basis from January, teaching various key stage 3 & 4 classes, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the remainder of the current academic year. This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers. You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way, in tandem with AfL. This is a Good school in terms of behaviour and attitude, personal development and leadership and management. The pupils enjoy the school and respect each other and the staff creating a caring environment for everyone involved. The leaders of the school have high expectation of the students which they rise to, striving for success at every opportunity.
