Simply Education is working with a well-established Secondary School in Bolton that is looking to recruit a full-time History Teacher for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team, where the focus is on providing high-quality education and inspiring a passion for history in students.

We are looking for an enthusiastic History Teacher who can deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that help students develop a deep understanding of historical events and their significance. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of historical topics to students of various abilities, from KS3 to KS4.

The Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a PGCE, GTP, BA Education, B.Ed, or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Have experience teaching History as a History Teacher at the Secondary School level.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and behavior management skills.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the British National Curriculum for History.
  • Be passionate about inspiring students to develop a love for history and critical thinking.
  • Show creativity in delivering engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles.
