About the Role:

Equitas is seeking a committed Teacher of Religious Education (RE) on behalf of a reputable secondary school in Stockport. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore diverse religions, values, and ethical perspectives. You will be an integral part of helping students develop critical thinking and respect for cultural and religious diversity.

Responsibilities:

•    Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons in Religious Education, primarily to Key Stages 3 and 4.
•    Develop lesson plans that promote religious tolerance, ethical understanding, and reflective inquiry.
•    Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning and improvement.
•    Collaborate with other department members to enhance curriculum delivery and share resources.


Requirements:


•    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
•    Demonstrated experience teaching Religious Education at Key Stages 3 and 4.
•    Solid understanding of the RE curriculum, with a commitment to inclusive and culturally sensitive teaching practices.
•    Strong communication skills and a passion for inspiring young minds.
•    Ability to work as part of a team and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
