Learning Support Assistant - Stockport - Starting ASAP

Aspire People are excited to be working with a secondary school located in Stockport is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant's to join their team ASAP!!! You will be working alongside 4 other candidate's Aspire have placed and this will be on a long term basis.

The role is full time during term time (Monday to Friday), you must be available straight away to be put forward!!!

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Supporting students with their educational and social development
Assisting teachers in creating a nurturing learning environment
Helping pupils to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential

To be put forward for this role you must have:
* Qualified to degree level in the UK/Psychology ideally but not essential
* A kind, patient, and empathetic manner
* Possess experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting
* Have experience supporting students with SEND
* Be passionate about education and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential
* Demonstrate reliability, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic

If you have a degree relevant to the role or a teaching assistant qualification this would desired but not essential, but you must have previous UK experience working with children with SEND.

In this role you will be under the supervision of the class teacher and support children with special educational needs including Autism, physical disabilities, and Sensory impairments in and outside of the classroom.

All candidates who register with Aspire People will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and must be on the update service.

We also offer a referral bonus of up to 250 for recommendations of candidates suitable for any of the roles we are recruiting for.
