About the Role:
REaCH has exciting opportunities to join a fast-paced, hard-working team dedicated to delivering the highest quality person-centred support to those in receipt of its services. We are looking to recruit additional Home Support Workers to work within our End-of-Life services to meet the increasing demands for end-of-life and palliative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support to maintain and develop relationships.
- Encourage individuals to be independent and make informed choices.
- Administer or assist with medications.
- Support with challenging and complex behaviour.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Provide emotional support to family members.
- Uphold the core values of REaCH and Stockport Council’s Adult Social Care services to ensure service users' final wishes to remain at home are met.
About You:
Are you caring and a good communicator?Are you able to listen and talk to our clients?Do you have a desire to support and help people in the community?Do you have a full UK driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle insured for work purposes?
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Good understanding of safeguarding and care plans.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to drive with a full UK license and business insurance.
