Job Title: C++ Developer
Location: Remote (with one visit per month to Stockport HQ)

The Role: As a C++ Developer, youll be integral to the development process, ensuring the highest standards of code quality while driving technical enhancements within the team. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, with the chance to collaborate face-to-face with the team during a monthly visit to their Stockport HQ.
What My Client Is Looking For:
Essential Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ (v17).
- Experience with build automation tools like Jenkins.
- Solid understanding of API design principles using SOAP and REST.
- Familiarity with networking concepts.
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms: Windows, Linux, and Web.
- Expertise in designing concurrency, scalability, and fault-tolerant systems for real-time applications.
- Proficient in debugging and diagnostics.
- Experience with source control systems, particularly GIT.
- Knowledge of automated testing techniques.
- Strong command of the Linux operating system.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with relational database management systems, ideally Oracle and/or SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Node.js.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with web development frameworks like React and Angular.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Groovy.
