Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester Position: Full-Time SEN TA Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Long-term Temporary Hours: 8:30 am 3:30 pm Pay Rate: GBP95+ per day About the Role: Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? We are seeking a full-time SEN TA to join a supportive and inclusive school in Stockport. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them to reach their full potential in a nurturing learning environment. Your Role Will Include: Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN. Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities. Supporting children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Implementing individual learning plans (IEPs) and adapting resources to meet student needs. Encouraging independence and creating a positive learning experience for all pupils. What Were Looking For: Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a school setting. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach. Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students and staff. A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification) is desirable but not essential. Requirements to Apply: Right to Work in the UK. Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply for one). Two professional child-related references.
