Prospero Teaching is seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Stockport (SK6). This role involves working closely with children who require additional support, including those with Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.

Position Details:
Location: Stockport (SK6)
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Type of Work: Providing 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN, working alongside teachers to ensure an inclusive learning environment
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-term, with potential for extension
Pay Rate: GBP95 per day
Hours: Monday Friday, 8:30 am 3:30 pm (term-time only)


Requirements:


Experience working with SEN children, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs
A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred)
Ability to use a patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to learning support
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete one)
An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Right to Work in the UK
