Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Stockport

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive secondary school in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in both their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and progress in their learning.
- Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to adapt resources and strategies tailored to each student's individual needs.
- Foster positive behavior, emotional well-being, and the development of social skills.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to help students achieve their learning goals.
- Support the classroom environment to promote inclusion and engagement for all students.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers as needed.
- Offer assistance with personal care or mobility support for students with physical disabilities, if required.
