Our school focuses on nurturing students' social, emotional, and mental wellbeing, offering specialised interventions to address a range of challenges and diagnoses such as ADHD, SpLD, MLD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, and more.
Additionally, our learners may experience significant social and communication difficulties stemming from trauma or complex emotional issues.
Operating across two sites in Altrincham and Marple, our school provides an enriching environment where you can truly make a difference. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students, supporting their growth in life skills, independence, and overall attitude towards learning. Each child is unique, requiring an adaptable and personalised approach.

Ideal candidates will:
- Possess at least 6 weeks of recent experience working with children and young people within the last 2 years.
- Have previous experience managing challenging behaviors in educational or care settings.
- Demonstrate confidence and excellent communication skills.
- Work effectively within a collaborative learning support team.
Safeguarding children and young people is paramount. We conduct rigorous checks on all candidates, including a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. If you're not subscribed to the DBS Update Service, don't worry - we'll assist you with a new application as part of our registration process. As part of our commitment to your professional development, we offer free safeguarding and prevent duty training to all our registered candidates.
