Position : EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

Contract type: Long term, starting January 2025

Location: Stockport

Are you a passionate about supporting the academic and social development of children with special educational needs (SEN)? Cover People are recruiting for one of their vibrant schools in Stockport to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Early Years.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Support the educational and social development of the child you are supporting.
  • Have the ability to build a strong relationship with the child.
  • Assist teachers in implementing their individual education plan.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to support the pupil progress.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting children with SEN needs, including cognitive and learning needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidence and ability to adapt to any situation.
  • Up to date CV, your CV must cover 10 years of employment.
