The role involves providing 1:1 support and group assistance for SEN children, helping them achieve their learning goals in a nurturing and inclusive setting. Responsibilities: Work closely with SEN students in a primary setting, supporting their educational and social development. Manage challenging behaviours and assist students with Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties. Provide both in-class support and engage students in activities outside the classroom to help them focus and regulate. Implement tailored strategies to meet individual student needs, ensuring they can thrive in their learning environment. Qualifications and Experience: Required: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher. Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting, with a strong understanding of behaviour management techniques. Skills: Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to meeting the needs of SEN students. Additional Training: Safeguarding training within the last year is desirable (training can also be provided).
