A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stockport (SK7) is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 student working at EYFS level. We are looking for someone experienced in supporting children with autism and speech and language difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the educational and personal development of a child, working within a supportive and experienced team.

What Were Looking For:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with:

Proven experience working with children with autism and speech and language difficulties.
Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and learning strategies.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with children who have additional needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and SEN specialists.
A proactive and adaptable approach, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Have an enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional references related to childcare or SEN work.
Be willing to undertake safeguarding training (if not already held).
