We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to teach a KS5 SLD class with additional needs for a specialist secondary school. The successful candidate will teach in a warm and nurturing environment and will create a positive learning experience for the pupils. The school has excellent facilities to accommodate the student's needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Devising lesson plans to suit the pupils
  • Delivering engaging lessons to pupils
  • Supporting the additional needs of the pupils
  • Differentiating lesson plans to ensure equal accessibility to learning
  • Keeping track of students progress

Requirements for this role are:

  • A DBS on the update service
  • A teaching qualification (NQTs welcome to apply)
  • Dedication to improving pupil's learning experience
  • Experience and understanding of special educational needs
