We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join an expanding team. If you have recently completed your RCSLT competencies or are an experienced SLT looking for a new opportunity with a friendly and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.

Based across Cheshire/Greater Manchester

Permanent contract, full-time hours (part-time also considered)

Our client are an innovative, independent Speech and Language Therapy company that prides themselves on delivering an exceptional service to families and education settings. The rewarding roles include working in nurseries and schools, delivering packages of support and one-to-one work with families in their own homes or education settings.

Working in the same schools each week give the opportunity to carry out regular therapy and become part of the schools’ team. You will have a small, manageable caseload, which ensures that you are able to provide a high quality of service to children and make a real difference.

We have a comprehensive programme of support and supervision in place. For more experienced therapists we give designated CPD time and there is scope for the therapists to develop a specialism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised and evidence-based speech and language therapy to children including assessment, interventions, advice and training
  • Deliver speech and language therapy to children with a range of communication needs
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team including health and education staff
  • Speech and Language Therapists will carry out assessments, deliver 1:1 / group therapy and training, liaise with education and health staff and write reports and targets.

Requirements:

  • We are looking for therapists who have completed their RCSLT NQP competencies
  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist
  • RCSLT and HCPC registration
  • Experience working with children in schools and clinic
  • Experience carrying out assessments and interventions with children with a range of communication need
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Car driver
  • Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
