Driver Hire Stockport is currently recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team and work for a variety of our clients around the SK Postcode!
The ideal candidate will be flexible with the days they can work as we have work available from Monday- Friday (start times 6am-8am).

We have have various roles available, which includes haulage, flatbed work, day and night work with over 40 of our clients supplied weekly.
Duties of this Class 1 driver will include:
- Driving the HGV vehicle responsibly and safely, whilst obeying all traffic laws and regulations.
- Carrying out the required daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance.
- Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress
- Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed
- Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
The successful candidate must have:
- A Valid Cat C+E Licence (HGV Class 1)
- A Valid CPC and Digital Tacho
- 6 months of relevant driving experience
- No more than 6 points/ No DDs, DRs, INs, TTs
Pay Rates:
Minimum 8 hours-£16.81ph
After 8 hours-£22.41ph
The figure above has holidays accrued within the hourly rate, if you wish to have your holidays accrued separately then the hourly rate would become£15.00phwith overtime being£20.00ph
