Engineering Supervisor

We’re hiring for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to oversee operations at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility based in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

What will you be doing as a Engineering Supervisor?

• Leading and supervising the manufacturing operations team to safely deliver finished products on time, at the correct quality and cost
• Championing continuous improvement and leading health, safety, and environmental activities
• Managing team performance, including resource deployment, absence management, and competence development
• Ensuring adherence to the company’s Quality Management Systems and manufacturing procedures
• Maintaining daily communication with the team, conducting shift briefs, and managing local KPIs
• Conducting daily audits of the workplace environment to maintain "visitor ready" standards

What do you need?

• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, preferably in Aerospace or Automotive industries
• A degree or HND in Manufacturing or an Engineering discipline preferred
• Proven leadership skills and experience in implementing manufacturing schedules and recovery plans
• Strong project reporting skills and familiarity with SAP and MS Office
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure and make decisions independently
