MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for a skilled Paint Technician / Paint Sprayer

MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are representing a leading automotive repair bodyshop who are seeking a skilled Paint Technician / Paint Sprayer to join their team in Stockport.

As a Paint Technician / Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Thoroughly inspecting vehicles to ensure they are completed to a high standard, adhering to the guidelines
  • Preparing vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding and priming surfaces
  • You will need good knowledge of mixing paint using electronic systems, colour matching to achieve the correct colour and consistency to ensure a perfect and seamless finish
  • Carry out repairs in line to stringent repair methodology
  • You will have an array of experience with paint application, using various techniques
  • You will also be responsible for masking, prepping, priming and polishing the vehicle
  • Ensure a clean working environment
  • You will adhere to the safety procedures, including handling and disposal of hazardous materials
  • Working closely with the team
  • Capability to record productive time spent using an electronic workshop/time recording system

As a Paint Technician / Paint Sprayer, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Paint Technician in an accident repair centre / bodyshop
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive body repairs
    • NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3 / ATA Qualified
  • Own tools, Airfed Mask
  • Strong communication skills

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00AM to 5PM
  • No weekend Work
