Very well established and highly successful Global engineering Manufacturer are expanding their Team!
The role will involve reactive and proactive engineering at a 24/7 production site, ensuring minimum downtime.
Working on continuous improvement projects, and to a safe manner inline with Health & Safety procedures.
This a truly great position and very positive team driven working environment for an enthusiastic multi-skilled maintenance engineer.
Role Description
* Electrical and Mechanical PPM's, Reactive & Breakdown maintenance
* Working within a Skilled Team
* Reporting into the Maintenance Manager
* Maintenance on various turning machinery, assembly equipment, automation and all associated ancillary equipment
* To contribute to kaizen projects working cross functionally
* Machine installations
* Lots of internal & external training and development opportunities
* Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times

Required Qualifications/Experience:
* Technical or QA Certification to NVQ Level
* 2 years experience in Technical or QA Role
Preferred Skills:
* 3 yrs + Experience in Machine maintenance
* Technical or QA Certification to NVQ standard - preferred
* * Time-Served, Apprenticeship trained with Level 3/HNC qualifications
* Strong Background within manufacturing. With a clear understanding of PM schedules
* Fault finding ability both Electrically & Mechanically
* Motivated to work in a team environment
* Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC's, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma and 5S, Continuous Improvement Methods
* Proven experience and drive to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a fast and very straight forward interview process and ideally we are looking for someone to start late July/Early August.
