Reed Talent Solutions are working with United Utilities on the search for a Logistics Operative to provide tanker reception services at their Stockport site.
In this role you will be responsible for the supervision and control of Bioprocessing tanker movement on site and implementation of Bioprocessing treatment plans for each individual waste stream, ensuring that each consignment is offloaded at the correct location and discharged in accordance with Bioprocessing’s regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for collecting waste monitoring samples from all incoming consignments and process assets.
Day-today duties would also include carrying out admin duties, administration and record keeping, including keeping detailed logs and collation of raw data to ensure a high standard of functionality of all bioprocessing assets through good housekeeping, maintenance and diligence.

- Contract: 3 months
- Hourly pay rate: £12.69 PAYE
- Working hours: between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Start date: ASAP
- Training: To be completed at Davyhulme WWTW, M41 7JB

What you'll need to be successful in the role?
- Strong organisational skills as you will be responsible for precise recording of data is required
- The ability to deal effectively and politely with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, including tanker drivers, regulators and customer representatives.
- Adaptability for learning systems and being able to manage reactive work where required
- Able to work unsupervised with initiative and have excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience working outside is desirable as a lot of time will be spent outside and manual labour will be involved
- Experience working with wastewater/ waste management (knowledge of UK Waste Management Regulations and Wastewater Treatment processes) is advantageous
- UK driving licence
