We’re on the lookout for a Welder Fabricator to join a market specialist in the design and manufacturing of bespoke equipment at their site based in Stockport.

In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate autonomously and as part of a team to craft high-quality bespoke fabrications from detailed drawings, ensuring meticulous standards, timely completion, and adherence to health and safety protocols.

What will you be doing as a Welder Fabricator?

  •  Working autonomously and collaboratively to craft bespoke fabrications from detailed blueprints
  • Conducting self-inspections to uphold meticulous standards, ensuring timely completion while meeting deadlines
  • Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols, maintaining secure and sound work practices
  • Documenting material usage and log daily working hours accurately
  • Confirming practical completion of finished products

What do you need?

  • The ability to MIG & TIG weld
  • Previous fabricating experience
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • A recognised apprenticeship/NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Previous industry experience
  • Jig design and production run set up experience (advantageous)
  • Experience in finishing stainless steel (advantageous)
