Cost Accountant Temporary, Fixed Term Contract

MAIN DUTIES

Database Management: Standard Costing

Create all new nominated parts in the system

Maintain all existing parts in production and at sub-contractors

Create and maintain pass through parts

Create co-products to assist planning

Carry out shop floor audits for data verification

Reports

Monthly cost roll up

Cycle time adjustments

Machine allocations

Qlikview applications for data verification

Margin Analysis

Cost comparisons Estimate v Actual

Negative margin reviews and high margin reviews

Full project margin reviews

Carry out root cause analysis if required

Create cost scenarios

Other

Ensure all work is J-Sox compliant

Assist in J-Sox audits

Assist with internal audits where necessary

Attend quarterly stocktake and assist with obsolete stock reviews

Attend PDR meetings

Kaizen suggest targets

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Organised, methodical and accurate in practice

GCSE in mathematics or higher essential

System 21 knowledge desirable training will be given

Working Hours

Monday-Thursday 8am-4.45pm / Friday 8am-12.30pm
