Quest Search & Selection are currently working with this omnichannel retail business who have over 100 stores and a strong presence online and via their member's club.

This business is looking for a Field Internal Compliance Auditor - North to ensure the protection of company assets, deliver a proficient and streamlined internal audit service to its retail stores and distribution centres across the organisation.

Key responsibilities of this Field Internal Compliance Auditor - North -

  • Perform risk assessments on key business activities in stores and warehouses, guiding audit focus with standardised checklists.
  • Conduct store visits for audits, recommending risk mitigation to managers and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Offer advice and training for poorly operated systems to maintain control.
  • Analyse transaction data for risk and fraud detection.
  • Investigate breaches of procedures and provide support for necessary actions.
  • Be involved with internal, audit stocktaking procedures & coordinate with external auditors when required.
  • Plan and oversee the annual stocktake program.
  • Assess and investigate discrepancies in stocktake results.
  • Stay updated on new systems, procedure changes, and company issues.

Key requirements of this Field Internal Compliance Auditor - North -

  • Ideally having 2 years + in an auditor position with focusing on stock & cash procedures.
  • Ideally from a retail, eCommerce or warehouse background.
  • This role will involved someone to be able to manage their own diary and understand risk stores and warehouses that need their support in the region, alongside meetings in head office and homeworking.
  • Flexible to travel and be away from home 2-3 nights per weel
  • You will be covering Scotland, Lancashire, Cumbira, NorTh-East & the Greater Manchester Area so if you are based in this area that would be preferential!
  • You must possess a driving license
  • This is covering stores
  • Be suited to a highly methodical, analytical and numerical candidate
