Reed Accountancy are excited to be working with a regular client of ours, and this time, they require our support for an Assistant Accountant position.

This is a full-time, permanent role, paying a salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience).

35 hours per week, Monday – Friday (working hours 9am-5pm)
24 days holiday + bank holidays
Additional holidays for years of service

Based at their office in Stockton, collaborating with offices around the world. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and maintaining the Purchase and Sales Ledger
Inputting purchase invoices
Matching PO numbers, checking and coding of invoices
Bank Reconciliations
PO Amendments
VAT Returns
Expenses
Sales invoices
Credit Control
Assistant Management Accountants with Month-End procedures
Foreign exchange and inter-company balances
Weekly meetings with the Ops and Finance Managers

For this role, you must be proficient using Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel. You will be AAT qualified or working towards CIMA/ACCA with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
