Job Description:

We’re seeking a highly skilled SEO Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies across a variety of client accounts. You’ll work with start-ups, local businesses, and scaling eCommerce brands to improve their organic traffic, search rankings, and overall digital performance. This role is integral to the continued growth of the SEO department, with the potential for progression into a Head of SEO role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead SEO strategies for a portfolio of clients to maximise ROI.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (copywriters, technical SEOs, digital PR specialists) to ensure consistency in client campaigns.
  • Conduct keyword research, content optimisation, technical audits, and backlink acquisition.
  • Provide strategic recommendations tailored to clients' business models, expectations, and goals.
  • Work with developers to identify and resolve technical issues affecting website performance.
  • Monitor and report on key SEO metrics such as conversions, organic traffic, and keyword rankings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends and technologies.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, delivering top-tier customer service.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar SEO role, preferably within an agency.
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices and proven experience in delivering results.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Experience training and mentoring junior team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Docs, Sheets).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
  • Analytical skills to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving ROI.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
