This company are a leading ICP that provides a variety of services related to the design, construction, and maintenance of Energy infrastructure. They offer maintenance and repair services, project management, consultancy on regulatory compliance and energy efficiency, and the integration of smart grid technologies and renewable energy solutions.

In this role you will develop and lead a team of multi-skilled engineering professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working on electrical designs up to 132 kV across all workstream areas and improving support for the Operations team, ensuring that all relevant contractual obligations are met.

The Role:
- Lead the design team to produce detailed designs for all workstreams.
- Leading electrical connection designs up to 132 kV
- Build and develop a skilled operations-based design team, improve competencies for Principal Designer roles under CDM regulations, and maintain high-quality standards and training.
- Working on bespoke project from cradle to grave, including cable network, overhead lines and substation installations.

The Person:
- Experience in a design role within an electricity distribution network operator or a similar industry.
- HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering
- Design experience up to 132kv
