Sales Executive – £25K - £28k depending on experience, £40K OTE – Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees

The Role

We’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our UK Sales team, helping us grow and strengthen our business across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and driven team at Lindy Electronics Ltd, a successful global supplier of cable and connectivity solutions.

In this role, you’ll manage and grow existing customer accounts while also identifying new opportunities. You’ll provide tailored solutions using our wide range of IT and AV products, ensuring your customers get exactly what they need. This role is based at our head office in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees, with some travel for customer visits and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships via phone, email and in-person
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate IT/AV solutions
  • Grow turnover from existing accounts in line with set targets
  • Seek and win new business opportunities
  • Attend customer meetings and trade exhibitions as required
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and report on progress
  • Use our CRM system effectively to manage and record opportunities
  • Stay informed on our product range and share knowledge with your team

The Person

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a proven track record in sales, with the ability to hit targets
  • Can confidently manage and grow customer accounts
  • Communicates clearly and effectively across all channels
  • Is self-motivated, organised and results-oriented
  • Has experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Holds a full, clean driving licence
  • Ideally has some knowledge of IT/AV products (professional or personal interest)
