If so, Reed Accountancy have an opportunity to share with you!Reed Accountancy are representing a highly reputable Law Firm, who are on the lookout for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their friendly and supportive team here in Teesside.

This is a full-time, permanent position with office-based work from Monday to Thursday (8:30am - 5:00pm) and early finishes on Fridays (8:30am – 4pm)! Other benefits to the role an company include:

This role is your chance to shine within a friendly, ambitious, and caring Firm, with a positive outlook! You’ll be diving into a variety of exciting accounting and administrative tasks, focusing on the residential conveyancing side of the business. Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll be doing...

  • Reviewing completion packs/statements for residential sales and purchases
  • Monitoring internet banking for incoming mortgages and client funds, and posting to ledgers
  • Managing the disbursement of funds for sales and purchases
  • Resolving ledger balances post-completion
  • Handling the Purchase Ledger, including referral accounts
  • Posting to Office and Client ledgers
  • Managing nominal postings and payments
  • Handling HMLR postings and matter balances
  • Processing card payments
  • General accounts administration and filing
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with bank reconciliations, salaries/wages, and financial reporting in their absence
