Job Title: Research Physician

Location: Teesside, UK

Job Purpose: As a Research Physician, you will be a medically qualified practitioner with full GMC registration and a current license to practice.

Salary: £60-70,000 Depending on experience 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform studies in accordance with ICH GCP (R2).
  • Ensure trial-related procedures comply with ICH-GCP guidelines and the protocol.
  • Maintain adequate records of each subject’s participation, including all investigations, adverse events, and changes in medications.
  • Assist in pre-screening and recruiting appropriate individuals for studies.
  • Provide medical care and oversight of clinical trial participants.
  • Review medical records of potential study participants.
  • Remain proactive in participants’ study visits, including taking informed consent, physical examinations, and other clinical procedures.

Commercial Awareness:

  • Maintain an awareness of our key customers and market competitors.
  • Share ideas from previous work environments to enhance the current role.
  • Maintain awareness of chat and screen fails and patient drop-out rates, taking appropriate corrective action.
  • Keep up to date with study status, ensuring each stage is optimized.

You must be:

  • A medically qualified practitioner with full GMC registration and a current license to practice.
  • Worked in various areas and settings within Medical Practice.
