- Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping activities across a portfolio of clients
- Sales ledger including raising invoices and credit control
- Purchase ledger including reconciling supplier statements
- Processing and reconciling bank transactions
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing and posting journals
- Making payments to suppliers and creditors
- Checking and processing expense claims
- Assisting with preparation of clients’ management accounts
- Assisting in budgeting and cash flow forecasts
- Payroll preparation and management
- Liaising and working directly with a range of external clients
- Providing administrative support internally to the company
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience in payroll preparation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work on your own initiative and independently
- Have good solid communication skills and confidence
- Familiar with Xero software
- Confidently use Sage Accounting and Payroll
- Part Qualified AAT
