Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour
Location: Stockton-on-Tees, Darlington
Working Hours: Part Time (20 Hours) - Tuesday to Friday 9am to 2pm
Contract Length: 6 Months
This role will support all internal and external departments, by performing cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment. The post holder will work independently or in a team cleaning all designated areas, ensuring facilities such as washrooms, offices and classrooms, and all communal areas are be cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning walls, floors, furniture, and fittings by use of both manual and electrically powered equipment.
- Duties include dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in accordance with the daily work schedule.
- Comply with the cleaning schedules which will direct which areas that are to be cleaned for both internal and external customers.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards.
- Ensure all outside areas are clean and tidy, litter picked, and bins emptied daily.
- Ensure that the cleaning stores are kept clean and tidy, and equipment is stored safely.
- Replenishing all drinks in all communal tea canteen areas
- Understanding and handling chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
- Reporting defects within the areas to the appropriate person / department
- Storing all equipment used correctly and in the designated areas
- To assist with the weekly Legionella flushing
- Any ad hoc duties that are reasonably required
Requirements:
