Connect Appointments are seeking reliable and motivated individuals with previous telephone experience to become a Telephone Sales Representative with one of the largest distributors of packaging products in the UK.

  • Please Note - This role is for a start in January 2025.

Based within Billingham, this is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm (37.5 hours p/w); paid at a competitive rate of 24,000 per annum.

Working as a Telephone Sales Representative your duties and responsibilities will include promoting, selling and obtaining orders from prospective customers over the phone. Combined with:

  • Making outbound calls to generate sales
  • Building B2B relationships with customers
  • Discussing products and services, assisting customers in selecting those that are best suited for them
  • Documenting customer information and utilising information already collated

What's required? Sales experience is preferred, but not essential, applicants with telephone experience will be considered. Combined with:

  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • The patience and ability engage customers in conversation
  • Good sales ability
  • The ability to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers
  • Excellent level of literacy, numeracy and IT skills
