My client is a distinctive style elegant hotel, state of the art facilities, part of an International chain of quality hotels.
The Job Role.....
As a Chef De Partie or Demi CDP you will be reporting to the Sous Chef assisting the brigade in the smooth running of daily operations.
Preparation of high quality food ensuring the highest standards are met at all times, in line with company regulations. Being a team player with a flexible nature to be able to assist colleagues and training chefs.
You will gain great experience as a Chef De Partie in all function areas of a busy Hotel with banqueting and fine dine restaurant service.
Your Responsibilities as a Chef De Partie....
- Striving towards quality & consistency in a busy environment to Rosette standard cooking,
- Maintain Health & Hygiene standards as company regulations dictate
- Flexible, work in a team and be able to work on various sections within the kitchen.
- Adaptable to a changing environment and be able to react with speed whilst maintaining standards, with a cool demeanor.
The ideal Chef De Partie....
- Minimum 2yrs in a Hotel environment
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with fine dine
- Flexible approach as there will be a requirement to work on a shift basis, including evenings & weekends.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive can do attitude.
- Passionate about the industry, with good knowledge of the Hotel industry.
- Creative flair with a passion for progression to go from Chef De Partie to Sous Chef.
- Ultimately team player, with a reliable and caring attitude.
- Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
