We are working with an exciting company that is leading advancements in sustainable solutions for the mining and refining industries. Our client is seeking a skilled Chemical Process Engineer to join their development engineering team in Teesside, playing a key role in designing and optimizing cutting-edge processes for their pilot plant. About the Role:You will be working on the development of production processes for a pilot plant, using multi-patented ‘selective flocculation’ technology to recover valuable metals such as gold and platinum from industrial waste streams. This is a pivotal opportunity to contribute to the design, commissioning, and optimization of innovative solutions that support clean growth. Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop new production processes for a pilot plant.
Commission equipment and conduct physical property testing.
Optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with the development team to solve technical challenges and advance their groundbreaking technology.

What We're Looking For:

Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in chemical process design and development.
Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Greenfield or pilot plant development is a plus.
