Central Employment are working partnership with an industry leading Automotive Manufacturer, as they look to recruit a successful and ambitious Business Development Manager (B2B Fleet) joining there scaling Commercial team in Teesside. £35,000-£50,000 DOE, OTE to £75k+ £4k car allowance Teesside based for training and on-boarding Candidates must be circa 90 mins from Teesside Business Development Manager (B2B Fleet) job profile: 

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Business Development Manager (B2B Fleet) is responsible for sourcing new business opportunities across our van sales & conversion specialisms. There solutions are built for the trades, with scope to customise complex solutions based on need. The successful candidate will grow their own customer relationships, creating a strong and commercially sustainable pipeline, ensuring that all sales transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail gained through solid questioning techniques, and a strong ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Business Development Manager (B2B Fleet) responsibilities:  

  • Essential to this role is an understanding of van variants and use cases, combined with experience of having sold these solutions from a cold start into large fleet using entities (Tier 1 construction, utility, retail type customers).
  •  Utilising multiple sources of information; industry knowledge, relationships, lead sourcing, to identify and deliver new business opportunities into the organisation.
  • Take ownership of your developed customer base, receiving inbound and making outbound calls to new and existing customers and supporting their need for vehicle sales, bodybuilding and conversions.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation for vehicle sales is accurate and complete, including end user details, specifications, finance details and vehicle allocations.
  • Communicate with customers to gather required information, answer enquiries, and provide updates on their vehicle purchase process.
  • Liaise with finance, operations and registration departments to ensure timely processing of sales.
  •  Be accountable to your sales reporting, using the CRM system and your own knowledge of pipeline deals and customers’ needs to forecast and win business.
  • Address and resolve any customer issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Work closely with other members of the sales team, production, and aftersales departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Experience required: 

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field-based role and sector.
  • B2B Fleet sales experience would be essential 
  • Proven ability to develop new business.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and generic CRM management software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant certifications in automotive sales or administration are a plus.
