We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Planner to join our team working on Water projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective planning and delivery of civil engineering projects, focusing on water infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules using planning software ( MS Project).
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of project plans.
  • Prepare detailed construction programs, resource forecasts, and progress reports.
  • Identify potential risks, delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in managing contract requirements, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Liaise with the client, Northumbria Water, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in planning roles within civil engineering, ideally in water projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Project
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts is a plus.
