The Role:
As a Site Services Engineer, you'll be the secret ingredient to our operational success. You'll whip up new systems and procedures, ensuring our equipment and facilities are always in top shape. Think of yourself as the master chef of maintenance, keeping everything running smoothly and safely.
Key Accountability's:
- Facility Maintenance: Keep our kitchen (okay, plant) in top shape, handling everything from heating and ventilation to fire protection and security systems.
- Water Treatment Management: Be the H2O hero, managing the daily operations of our water treatment plant.
- Team Support: Support your fellow engineers, promoting a 'fix it right first time' mentality. Teamwork makes the dream work!
- Efficiency Improvement: Analyse and develop performance improvement plans to keep our operations as smooth as butter.
- Preventative Maintenance: Cultivate a culture of planned preventative maintenance using KPIs and detailed schedules.
- Compliance: Ensure all statutory inspections are managed and records are maintained. Safety first, always!
- Standards Maintenance: Uphold high standards in Health & Safety, Housekeeping/Hygiene, and Quality. Prepare for audits like a pro.
- Energy Savings: Identify opportunities for energy saving and make sure we're as green as our veggies.
- Health & Safety: Ensure the safety of all staff members by adhering to Health and Safety procedures and supporting Chargehands.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Qualifications: Electrical qualifications with some mechanical experience preferred. A jack-of-all-trades!
- Refrigeration Experience: Preferred but not essential. Cool if you have it, no biggie if you don't.
- Computer Skills: Basic skills, especially with EMS systems like Pirana. Nerds welcome!
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills to juggle varied workloads. You're the circus ringmaster!
- Experience: Experience in a fast-moving, pressurised manufacturing environment. You thrive under pressure!
- Trouble-Shooting: Proven trouble-shooting and fault diagnosis skills. The Sherlock Holmes of maintenance.
- Passion for Maintenance: Enthusiastic about engineering maintenance. You love fixing things!
- Professionalism: Highly professional and capable of handling issues independently. You've got this.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to build strong working relationships. People person, much?
