We're currently looking for a skilled Credit Controller on a part-time basis, 2 to 3 days per week - whichever works better for you! About the role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will manage and monitor debtor accounts, ensuring accurate records of all correspondence and providing monthly statements.

You will liaise directly with clients to break down invoices and swiftly resolve any queries. Additionally, you'll prepare quarterly debtor reports for management review and hold regular meetings with Fee Earners to discuss outstanding balances.

Your responsibilities will also include posting credits for invoice receipts and offering ad-hoc support to the Finance team as required.This role is designed for someone who loves variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment-each day will bring new challenges, making it an exciting opportunity for growth and development!

About you:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Credit Controller, with the ability to read and understand complex ledgers and a great eye for detail. Strong communication and organisational skills, along with excellent phone etiquette, are essential.

You should have a proactive drive to improve the overall debtor balance and be skilled in analytical, numerical, and reconciliation tasks. The ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently is key to this role.Flexibility and support are important here, so you'll be able to enjoy the right balance between work and personal life while still being part of a fast-paced, exciting environment. In addition, you'll have the flexibility to work from home one day per week, following your probation period, giving you that extra balance to manage your time.
