Transport Admin / Customer Service Stockton on Tees£31.5k Temp-Perm  Irlam Associates are pleased to support our client, a very well-established, global Pallet Network operator, working on behalf of a world renowned 3PL across some brilliant logistics contracts out of their depot near Stockton on Tees, and we are delighted to support in their search for a Transport Admin & Customer Service Advisor to join the team.   You will be charged with coordination of transport office activities across your shift, playing a key role in providing assistance and support for the depot’s operations in the efficient running & support of the Transport and Admin departments, ensuring an efficient and effective service.  Problem solving and customer service alongside data input forms the basis of this role.  Monday – Friday  8am – 6pm+ Every other Saturday Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing excellent customer service to drivers, customers and suppliers
  • Processing and management of incoming queries, via email and phone
  • Ensuring requests for information, delivery discrepancies and claims are dealt with
  • Goods receipt processing, liaising with suppliers re any identified discrepancies
  • Generate and proof check Goods received reports
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams
  • Resolving delivery discrepancies and issuing customer credits and returns and dealing with any customer or driver complaints & queries
  • Deal with any driver or vehicle claims procedures
  • Communication with internal and external contacts regarding supply, credit and deliveries etc.
 Key Skills:
  • Experience working in a customer service led & administrative role.
  • Ability to be organised to prioritise workload
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to organise, administer, plan and prioritise effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible in their approach
