Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable education Trust with a good track record for school improvement. The Trust sponsors 29 academies; 16 secondary and 13 primaries across the North of England in twelve Local Authority regions.

The trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and reliable whole time Data Analyst to join a small but dynamic team. This is a crucial role with responsibility for the collection and analysis of data including external examinations, statutory testing results, interim assessments, attendance and behaviour.

The successful candidate will have excellent numeracy and written skills, the ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy, and experience of communicating with staff at all levels across the organisation.

Knowledge and experience of tools for the manipulation and presentation of data are essential. Experience of Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power BI and Dax would be ideal.

Knowledge and experience of the education sector are desirable, but the trust welcomes candidates with the necessary transferable skills from other sectors.
