Mechanical Design Engineer

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our market leading manufacturing client with their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Key Duties & Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent Project Management skills (Planning & Organisation).
• Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis.
• A creative approach for generating innovative ideas.
• Proficient with the latest version of Autodesk Inventor.
• An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A sound knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and methods.
• Good team working skills.
• Results orientated.
• A sound appreciation of business demands.
• Working knowledge of Directives and Standards.
• Able to produce Project Technical Files.
• Demonstrate sound understanding of Risk Analysis within the design environment.
• Relevant engineering qualification.
• In-depth experience of 3D modelling CAD software is required, with a preference for Autodesk Inventor. Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis will also be a necessity.

The Package:

• 35,000 - 47,000 per annum depending on experience.
• Day shift role, Monday-Friday.
