Prospero Teaching is seeking an Early Career Teacher who is eager to inspire and educate young minds in a supportive primary school environment in Stockon-On-Tees.

This school is offering full and part time roles for enthusiastic Early Career Teachers starting after October half-term (wb 4th November) whereby there will be opportunities for part of the ECT to be completed whilst in the role.

The role will involve planning and delivering lessons to full classes with the support of Teaching Assistants within lessons.


A key part of the role will be to differentiate lessons appropriately and work effectively alongside other members of staff to ensure all pupils are able to make progress and are taught in a way that is suited to their individual needs and learning styles. Another key part of the role will be to build positive relationships with pupils and other members of staff to ensure challenging behaviour is managed in a positive, proactive, and consistent manner.

This role will involve:
Planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons that inspire Reception pupils and allows all pupils to make progress.
Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner
Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and earning styles of all pupils.
Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress
Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.
Working effectively with Teaching Assistants to ensure children receive the best possible educational experience

This role requires:
An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you)
QTS and Primary Teaching experience.
Experience of short, medium and long-term planning
Experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport
A positive and resilient attitude towards Teaching and work
Experience of Teaching within the UK
A genuine passion for Teaching
Strong organisation and communication skills
A commitment to CPD
