A globally leading Chemical Manufacturer based in Middlesbrough are on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team!

As an integral member of the Engineering Team, the Electrical Engineer will assist with the deployment of key operational and maintenance strategies within the electrical group.

Salary and Benefits

  • Annual Salary up to £55,000

Role of the Electrical Engineer:

As the Electrical Engineer, you will report into the Head of Engineering and ensure that the site meets the safety standards from an electrical perspective, including meeting regulatory and customer quality requirements relating to ISO9001 & ISO14001.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction for the electrical group and maintenance team, communicating operational strategies and performance
  • Deliver the electrical aspects of all Capital Projects ensuring good engineering practice is applied whilst also maintaining capital expenditure within budget limits.
  • Improvement of the production asset uptime through a reduction in outages associated with electrical equipment and maintenance excellence.
  • Ensuring legislative compliance within the electrical function.
  • Working knowledge of various Motors and Invertors installations.
  • Specifying equipment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree qualified within Electrical Engineering
  • Wide range of Electrical Engineering background.
  • Background knowledge within budgetary management
  • Ability to provide analysis of breakdown rates
